Zucchini-coconut latkes? Ground beef and pinenut-filled sufganiyot (doughnuts)? Traditional Moroccan Chanukah couscous with raisins, cinnamon and buttermilk?
Let’s hear your favorite.
Kimchi Latkes. They are filled with probiotics! (unfortunately if you live in Israel, they won’t let kimchi in from any Asian country… so you need the Asian connections!)
Okay, I have to admit that I didn’t know what kimchi was.
But I just looked it up and found a not-too-hard-looking recipe for it. Sounds cool - maybe I’ll try my hand at it soon.
So once you have your Kimchi, how do you make the latkes (in case I become a kimchi expert by next Chanukah)?
